Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the WTM app ("WTM", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Email address — used to sign you in with a one-time code. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the email (or private relay address) and name Apple shares with us.
- Profile — the handle, display name and optional profile photo you choose.
- Moves and activity — the plans you post (vibe, place, time, optional note), the friends you tag in them, your comments, your reactions, "I'm in" and "Maybe" taps, friend requests, friendships and squads.
- Push notification token — if you allow notifications, so we can send the daily prompt.
- Reports and blocks — if you report or block someone, we keep a record so we can review it.
We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, we only access a photo you explicitly pick as your profile picture, and we do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
How we use it
- To run the app: sign you in, show your moves to your mutual friends, and show you theirs.
- To send the daily "what's the move?" notification, if you've allowed it.
- To keep WTM safe: reviewing reports and enforcing our Terms of Use.
Who can see your information
Your moves are visible only to your mutual friends, or, if you post to a squad, only to that squad's members. Friends you tag in a move can always see it. Comments, tags and who's joining a move are visible to everyone who can see that move.
Your handle, display name and profile photo are visible to your friends and squadmates, to people with a pending friend request to or from you, and to anyone who can see a move you've joined, commented on or been tagged in. Other WTM users can also find you by handle, and an invite link you share opens your profile for whoever has it.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
Service providers
Data is stored with Supabase (database, file storage and authentication), Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple, and push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. These providers process data only to run WTM.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, photo, moves, comments, tags, reactions, friendships, squads and notification tokens. Reports you filed are kept without your identity so we can finish any review. Moves drop out of the feed at the end of each day and are deleted after 7 days, along with their comments and tags.
Children
WTM is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
